Instagram is the application for sharing photos most used in the world and in Italy, owned by Facebook, famous for its retro effects to be applied quickly to the photos just taken with the same app that can be downloaded for free both on iPhone and on Android phones . Among the most important features of this social photo we find the possibility to tag people and friends (obviously only if subscribed to Instagram) in the photos, so as to immediately display the shot to those in need.

How to tag people on Instagram
In order to tag a person we follow on Instagram, first of all we start the app, tap at the top left on the symbol with the camera, make the shot to share then press at the bottom right on Send to to be able to access the list of friends to send the shot to.
We select the person or people to send the photo to by tapping Send ; if instead we wanted to create a story, just tap on Share at the top, so as to make the photo available only for 24 hours.
Another way to tag people is to press, within the Instagram app, the button with the + at the bottom, choose which photo or shot to use then tap at the top on Next . Now choose the effect to apply to the photo, select Next again at the top and, in the new screen that will appear, tap on Tag people, so we can add a tag for all the people we want to see this sharing.
In addition to adding the tags, on this screen we can also insert our hashtags (in the caption) and choose whether to share the post or photo also on Facebook (with the same associated account), on Twitter or on Tumblr (other famous social networks that they use hashtags).
After adding all the necessary tags, there is nothing left to do but press up on Share to add the shot to our profile, with all our friends already tagged.
How to check the photos we are tagged in
When someone tags us in a photo, we will receive a notification and the photo will be added to the Tag section in the application; to reach this section, simply tap on the bottom of the account symbol (last icon on the bottom right), then select the Tag tab (in the shape of a man inside a tab, the last on the right).
By default, tags are added to the Instagram profile automatically .
To prevent you from being automatically labeled in the tags in Instagram and then check the tags (perhaps rejecting the photos that have gone wrong), simply open the Account menu at the bottom right, tap on the three horizontal lines at the top then select the Settings item. From here we press on the Privacy menu, go to Tag then remove the checkmark from the Add automatically item.
In this menu we also find an interesting feature, ossai Hide photos and videos . With this we can hide the tags associated with us on old photos or on the shots that we do not want to be associated with us, so as to maintain the privacy of our profile (maybe we have made old photos that we do not want to be seen). By taking full advantage of the Tag section, we will maintain a high degree of control over the tags associated with our profile, so that we can avoid the most embarrassing photos or that have nothing to do with us (maybe we were tagged by mistake or to take advantage of our followers).
How to increase the success of a photo
If we want to increase the success of a photo shared on Instagram, the trick is to tag as many people as possible (obviously they must be present in the photo or must relate to a common topic) and also add at least 6-7 hashtags, so as to can also be found by new followers or by users who follow a specific hashtag.
