Activision has finally launched the Android and iPhone version of one of the most played video games in history, Call of Duty or COD, which since 2002 has made millions of people play war, with always realistic first-person simulations and, for this reason, scary. For those who have never played it, Call of Duty is a first-person shooter based on team strategy . It is therefore not a game where missions are carried out at Rambo, but where instead one becomes a soldier in war. Call of Duty Mobile has two different control modes: simple mode and advanced mode.
In Simple Mode there is no button to shoot, it will be enough to frame a target and the gun will shoot automatically when you aim the crosshair at the enemy. The disadvantage of this mode is that a lot of extra ammunition is wasted also because it is not possible to have a good firing precision as it would be with the advanced mode. The advantage is that you can move around much faster without having to worry about touching the screen to fire the gun. There is also a setting to limit the distance in which automatic aiming is activated, to avoid wasting bullets when the enemy is too far away.
Advanced mode, on the other hand, offers a more enjoyable gaming experience more similar to the Call of Duty for consoles. The controls move on the screen so you can always have the most important buttons under your thumbs. This mode also has a real fire button.
At the moment Calla Of Duty Mobile does not have support for a Bluetooth controller which would certainly make the game more comfortable and fun, but it may be that it will be added in the coming months.

Battle Royale mode

Battle Royale (BR) modes are all the rage right now and give you the opportunity to fight online against so many other real players all together. You can then explore the large map, even driving cars or boats, and take new weapons.
Each soldier can have a role in the battle, with a unique advantage and ability. The different roles, when used intelligently in two or four player co-op mode, can make the team stronger.
One last very funny thing in Battle Royale mode is boss fighting. Scattered on the map, in fact, you can find real monsters that guard powerful weapons like the rocket launcher. To beat a boss it definitely takes a team with good players to collaborate.

There are, at the moment, 8 maps that reflect the past versions of Call Of Duty, with different scenarios. Some are vast and to be explored, others are small for those who want to shoot immediately without wasting too much time exploring.

Customization

You can customize the character's inventory, save up to five different combinations of weapons and grenades and unlock new customizations by leveling up or buying it using the game currency. Fortunately, the things you can buy for real money are purely aesthetic and do not affect the competitiveness of the game (although there are some purchasable bonuses that can really make a difference).

Weapons

During the game you can choose different guns, one in primary position and one in secondary position. There is also a specific section for grenades. Weapons level up as they are used and can be upgraded with accessories such as laser sights and extended magazines to gain a significant advantage on the battlefield. During a game you can also use a powerful weapon such as the machine gun or the flamethrower, which can be used only once (maybe two).

Other game modes of Call of Duty Mobile

There are not one or two game modes in Call of Duty: Mobile, there are at least five of them:

• Prima Linea, the fast-paced team fight.
• Team Deathmatch, where you have to reach a certain score.
• Domain, where whoever wins and defends circles on the map wins.
• Search and Destroy, where you have to detonate a bomb preventing the other team from defusing it.
• Battle Royale, with 100 players competing in the same game.

All of these game modes allow you to play with up to 8 or 10 players, depending on the game mode, and all of them are available to make very simple friendly games against the computer or ranked games to earn points in the leaderboard.
