Calculate hours of sleep on iPhone to know how much sleep

With iOS 10, Apple has updated the application of the clock on the iPhone with a new graphic design and a new curious and interesting feature that serves to know how many hours of sleep it would be better to have for a regular and healthy life .
You can then open the Clock application on iOS 10 to find that in addition to alarm clocks you can also use the Sleep function and activate it.
From the Sleep tab you can then follow a guided procedure by answering a few questions, specifying what time you usually wake up in the morning and how many hours you want to sleep each day.
You can then tell the application when to receive the notification that it's time to go to bed, as if it were a reverse alarm clock.
Finally, it is possible to indicate the days on which to activate this warning, possibly excluding the weekend.
So if you want to sleep at least 8 hours and the alarm sounds every morning at 7, you will receive an alert from the iPhone when you have to go to sleep.
Among the options to be configured, you can also choose to receive the notification to sleep 15 minutes before or 30 minutes or an hour earlier to prepare for the night.
The clock app, once the Sleep function is activated, keeps a record of the hours of sleep and integrates with the Health app to view statistics.
About the hours of sleep, as already explained in another article, the time to go to bed to wake up rested should be in cycles of an hour and a half, not therefore 8 hours, but 7 and a half hours or 9.
Also, the time before bed should not look at the iPhone due to the noise of the blue lights on the screen, or you must activate the night mode that attenuates the blue.
To activate night mode, go to Settings> Display and brightness and then turn on the Night Shift switch.
