Open Chrome and Firefox super fast without external extensions and plugins

We have seen, a few articles ago, that to speed up Chrome if it becomes slow it is necessary to limit the number of active extensions, removing or deactivating those that are almost never used.
Browser extensions are an incredible added value for Chrome and Firefox, but their massive use weighs down the browser and can also slow down internet browsing.
There are therefore many people who do not use extensions, partly for security reasons, to avoid any risk from external software and partly because they really do not need them, do not know them or use the internet in a basic way, without too much interaction and customization.
For everyone, it may be convenient to have a shortcut that allows you to open Chrome or Firefox, depending on your taste, with all extensions disabled .
Those who do not use the extensions can therefore rest assured that none will ever be installed on the browser even by viruses or malware, while those who use them can have an optional boot mode to make Chrome or Firefox as fast and light as possible (without extensions, even a browser massive as Chrome comes back light).

To start Chrome without extensions and with all external plugins disabled (except Flash Player and PDF Viewer) you need to create a new launch shortcut on the desktop.
Then right-click on the Chrome icon, click Copy.
Then right click on the desktop and click on Paste to get a new startup link.
Rename the icon with a different name, such as "Chrome Fast" or "Chrome noext".
Press on this icon with the right key, go to Properties and change the row of the Destination field putting it in this way:
Switch from: (the path may be different so keep what you read)
"C: \ Program Files (x86) \ Google \ Chrome \ Application \ chrome.exe"
A: (add at the end of the path --disable-extensions )
"C: \ Program Files (x86) \ Google \ Chrome \ Application \ chrome.exe" --disable-extensions
Then click on Apply and OK to close the window.
Try now to start Chrome by clicking on this new desktop shortcut and note that Chrome not only does not load extensions, but neither does it allow them to be enabled.
In the main menu, going to Tools, the Extensions item is disabled and not clickable.
In the Chrome or Windows task manager you will also notice how light Chrome becomes, taking up little memory even with several tabs open.
Chrome is, in this way, really fast to load even with many tabs open.

To start Firefox without add-ons or extensions, it is necessary to open it in safe mode.
As seen above for Chrome, create a new shortcut on the desktop to open Firefox, right click on the icon, go to the properties and modify the Destination field in the following way.
From:
"C: \ Program Files (x86) \ Mozilla Firefox \ firefox.exe"
It becomes:
"C: \ Program Files (x86) \ Mozilla Firefox \ firefox.exe" -safe-mode
remember that the path may be different then keep the one written by adding only -safe-mode to the right.
Apply and close the window.
The new icon, if clicked, opens Firefox in non-extension mode and beyond, even with hardware acceleration disabled and resetting the theme and interface customizations (these are not lost if you open Firefox in the normal way).
Firefox, in safe-mode, is very fast and fast, protected from possible malicious extensions.
You can also open Internet Explorer in mode without external plugins by changing the destination of the launch icon like this:
"C: \ Program Files \ Internet Explorer \ iexplore.exe" -extoff
This way of opening the internet can be recommended to everyone when you want to quickly browse news sites or on Facebook and to be used, perhaps, on Mum, Dad and Uncle's computers that extensions certainly don't even know what they are.
