Call waiting should be an essential service for every telephone operator and instead, for some time now, it has not been so. Tim and Vodafone have in fact paid for their call waiting services to receive notification whenever someone looks for us but finds them busy, off or unreachable and to receive a message when someone becomes reachable.

To get back at least the call waiting service, without spending a penny more, you can use a new free application called PhoneFunky.
PhoneFunky is an application for Android and iPhone of DC12 that invented an ingenious way to receive the warning that someone has looked for us, if it has found us unreachable or busy .
After installation PhoneFunky asks to register a new account to receive the password via email.
Then touch the gear to activate the service and confirm your phone number.
Subsequently it is necessary to configure the call forwarding of the missed calls to a service number located in Rome (with prefix 06).
The call forwarding remains free and will not be paid by anyone as no one will answer that number and the call will be rejected.
To activate the call forwarding service, you can open the telephone keypad, touch the options button at the bottom right and then go to the settings.
Alternatively, on the smartphone if the phone is busy, dial the number on the keypad: ** 67 * 0694802015 # while to divert the calls received with the phone off or unreachable, the number: ** 62 * 0694802015 # .
After the configuration, you can try to turn off the phone and call yourself from another number.
When you switch your phone back on and connect it to the internet, PhoneFunky will be able to communicate with its servers and display the call waiting.
The service is free and guaranteed by the same company behind Whooming, the app to find out the number of those who call anonymously
PhoneFunky in fact uses the same call forwarding as Whooming which, therefore, can be installed to recognize the phone number of the caller by hiding the number.
PhoneFunky is a new app, for now very useful to those who have TIM and Vodafone as operators, which will be good for everyone when it will be improved in the future with the addition of voicemail, VoIP numbers, temporary numbers, SMS and messages.
