Winamp and the ShoutCast service have been purchased from Radionomy and will continue to be developed, however it has not improved for many years and although it maintains its simplicity, there are certainly better programs. Everyone knows Winamp as it is one of the historical programs for Windows PC, present for 20 years, the most used and most appreciated multimedia player to hear music on the computer.
Although today there are many similar programs to listen to music on the computer, I am sorry that Winamp is terminated so by AOL that owns it.
Winamp was a pioneer in the digital music revolution and iTunes probably wouldn't even exist without the development work done with Winamp. In this article the best alternatives to this music program, which are similar in terms of basic characteristics and lightness to Winamp.
1) AIMP is one of the most similar Winamp audio-player programs both in terms of graphic interface and capacity.
