ADSL internet accelerator to increase download speed

Many of the efforts that users make when using the computer are aimed at optimizing the internet connection in order to increase data transfer, upload and download speeds.
On a Windows PC there are a lot of parameters and network settings set and predefined to ensure the best possible performance in any circumstance.
Since Windows is installed on 95% of computers around the world, it is normal for it to be configured to work properly under all conditions.
So, in the case of internet connection, the parameters set are good both if the PC connects with a 56K modem or if you use an ultra fast optical fiber.
However, if you want to increase the speed of the internet and ADSL, you can change these parameters and algorithms with an automatic accelerator provided by Auslogic.
Regarding the speed of the internet, I had already reported how to optimize the internet and the TCP / IP network with TCP Optimizer.
However, since it is difficult to understand the network settings and, above all, how they affect the speed of the internet, you can use a better program, very easy to use: Auslogics Internet Optimizer .
This program is part of the Auslogic BoostSpeed suite but can also be downloaded for free as a separate program to increase internet speed.
On the internet there are some good reviews and others less flattering, but, in my test, the automatic program worked and improved the situation .
Internet Optimizer is also in Italian and it is very important that it is understandable what it does, especially for those who want to learn how to set each single parameter manually.
There are only two ways to use it: Automatic optimization and Manual optimization .
Automatic optimization scans the parameters and detects which optimal values they should have for that type of connection.
Fundamental, so that there are improvements, is the initial choice of the type of connection used which can be, according to Internet Optimizer, of three types: Fast (ADSL2 connections, fiber optic, Satellite), Media (all normal DSL connections, internet keys, UMTS, HSPA, VPN etc.), slow (connections via modem, ISDN, GPRS).
Before proceeding to automatic optimization, it is advisable to do an internet speed test on the Speedtest.net website, to be repeated later to check if the speed has increased.
For my test, before the automatic optimization, Speedtest reported the following values.

After applying the recommended changes, about 40 out of 77 parameters checked, internet speed increased after the computer was restarted

If you want to understand more what is being changed among the parameters taken into consideration by Auslogic Internet Optimizer, you can read the final report indicating the changed registry keys.
Important is the function of restoring the default settings, always possible from the Action menu, to go back .
Manual optimization allows you to apply changes by configuring the values of each parameter according to your preferences.
The manual part is certainly recommended for experts but also the less experienced, as the program is in Italian, they will be able to read the explanations for each parameter and try to understand something more.
There are settings for the TCP / IP protocol, Internet Explorer, Firefox, Winsock and DNS Cache.
The important algorithms section concerns the MTU (Maximum transfer Unit), RWIN (TCP reception window) and TTL (Time to Live for TCP / IP packets) values.
Personally, I found this Auslogic network optimization program, a brand of reliable reliability, to be positive.
Auslogic Internet Optimizer is not however listed in the pages of the official website, if not as an integrated tool in the BoostSpeed suite.
You must therefore download the free version from the Downloadcrew site or from Filehippo the latest version that also works in Windows 10 and 8.1.
Alternatively, a similar tool is inside the Windows IOBit optimization suite.
