After so many games treated it seems right to dedicate a page to the symbol of Nintendo, Super Mario Bros. This game has existed since the 1980s and has been played by entire generations of gamers, not only on Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Gameboy, DS and Wii, but also, in unofficial versions, on PCs and other computers or consoles. In fact Super Mario Bros is the most classic platformer game where you have to blow up the little man among a thousand platforms, in a path that offers many bonuses to collect and also full of pitfalls, animals, bad monsters and enemies to avoid or kill. Typically to kill the enemies you jump in the head but in some versions Mario Bros can also shoot.
Today you can still play Super Mario online and on your PC in different ways, by downloading one of the versions available for free or by playing from the browser.

1) Those who love playing Super Mario Bros, will be happy to know that a new and complete version of the original game is now available online . Josh Goldberg has worked hard to recreate the classic game in its entirety in HTML5 .
There are three game modes available: classic original levels, randomly generated levels, or custom levels created with the editor.

3) The official Super Mario Bros versions of the old Nintendo are playable from the VirtualNes site, with all the trilogy plus the old Donkey kong, Pacman, Paperboy and many other games of that historic 80's console. The Super Mario are perfect replicas of these which were, both graphically and as sound effects and music. You can play directly from the internet browser, without downloading anything even if you need Java support.

4) Super Mario Bros. Star Scramble is an online PC game that incorporates the original version of the game, with a whole new and different story to be played.
5) Super Mario Flash can always be played from the browser, this time using the flash technology that is presumably already installed on every computer. The game is always classic but starts with a map where you can choose the paintings to deal with. The scrolling is always horizontal, to kill the animals you jump on it, to take the bonuses you can use your head and you must always be careful not to fall below. This flash is not graphically very nice though, being immediate it is an excellent pastime for dead or rest moments.
6) Mari0 is the original game to download for free on PC Windows, Mac and Linux. The game is also multiplayer and can be played in two or 4 together. Here the video presentation:
7) The best Super Mario Bros is Super Mario Bros 3: Mario Forever to be played on the PC and must be downloaded and installed. This is an excellent platformer game with all elements of Nintendo's original Mario. In this advanced version, you can also grow big by eating the red mushroom and you can become invulnerable by taking the star, however, as you are touched, you lose your life. No energy bar in this case: if you are touched you lose a life, and you need to start again from the last checkpoint. Everything remains like the original game, including sound and music which is slightly more modern but not too much.
8) Super Mario World Deluxe is an online game practically identical to the SNES version of the same name and is well done graphically with the same traits and the same playability.
9) Super Mario World 3 is almost the same but, instead of downloading it, it is in flash and is played online directly from the web browser.
10) Super Mario Rampage is a horizontally moving flash game where you have to shoot enemies.
12) Similar to Rampage, Super Mario World Hardcore .
13) Super Mario Mushrooms is more peaceful and the goal is to collect as many mushrooms as possible.
14) SuperTux is a remake of the classic super Mario Bros. only that, instead of Mario, there is the Linux penguin. Obviously it is an open source game, a platform that is a clone of the original.
15) Secret Maryo Chronicles is a beautiful platform game, open source clone of Super Mario, to download for free with clean and high-level graphics.
16) Super Mario Bros Crossover, original version of the first Nintendo game, can be played freely on the internet .
