Google Calendar is a wonderful online tool that can be used as a web app from your computer or as an app for mobile Android and iPhone smartphones. Its usefulness lies in the full integration with Gmail and Google Tasks, to schedule events and appointments and receive reminders so that you never forget an important date.
In addition to its use as a personal online agenda, Google Calendar can be used in original ways by automatically importing important dates such as movie release dates, favorite team matches, friends' birthdays etc.
So let's see, in this article, which dates you can easily and automatically add to your personal Google calendar .

1) Automatically add movie release dates to theaters to the Google calendar.
To keep up to date on which films come out to the cinema every weekend in Italy, the calendar of film previews of the Filmscoop website can be added to Google Calendar. Just press the button + Google Calendar at the bottom where it says " Movies in the cinema and previews ".
2) Import the holidays

Another little-known feature built into Google Calendar is the ability to import Serie A calendar dates for your favorite football team. To do this, go to Other calendars as for the holidays (point 2) and move to the Sports section looking for Serie A. You can also import the dates of the matches of other teams and other leagues.

7) Import events and birthdays from Facebook to Google Calendar.
You can easily fill the Google calendar with Facebook events and friends' birthdays by going to the Facebook page //www.facebook.com/events/calendar, pressing the gear button at the top right and then clicking on Export. You can add friends' birthdays and events to the calendar by pressing the right mouse button on the two links and copying them. Open Google Calendar, go to Other calendars on the left side of the page, click on the down arrow and then on Add URL to paste the link. This export works only by putting the English language on Facebook.

8) Save the Foursqure checkins on the calendar
Those who use Foursquare can save checkin dates by automatically importing them into the Calendar.

9) Create an event from emails marked with a star in Gmail
Star emails in Gmail are ideal for marking important emails for review. The IFTTT recipe creates an event that will remind us to review that email tomorrow.
10) Create reminders from Gmail
With this IFTTT recipe, you can write an email to yourself to add an event to your calendar quickly. The email must have a personal choice word as its subject (default is newcalentry)
